These classic chocolate chip cookies are perfectly soft and chewy with crispy edges. They’re easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Homemade Marinara Sauce

This homemade marinara sauce is rich, flavorful, and surprisingly easy to make. Once you try it, you’ll never want to go back to jarred sauce!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken

This lemon herb roasted chicken is perfect for a Sunday dinner or special occasion. It’s flavorful, moist, and makes your kitchen smell amazing!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (4-5 lbs)
  • 2 lemons
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 4 cups baby potatoes (optional)
  • 2 cups baby carrots (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
